CenterPointe Community Bank (PINKSHEETS: CENP) is a State of Oregon chartered, FDIC insured, community bank based in the Columbia River Gorge, Initially opened September 2007, the Bank is headquartered in Hood River, Oregon, with additional full service banking offices located in The Dalles, Oregon and Bingen, Washington. As the only local community bank headquartered in the Columbia Gorge Region, CenterPointe Community Banks' designated service area encompasses Wasco and Hood River counties in Oregon, and Klickitat County in Washington State.

Board of Directors
Steven Bickford, Chairperson of the Board, is a fourth generation orchardist born and raised in Hood River and graduated from Wy East High School. He graduated from Oregon State University with an engineering degree. Mr. Bickford has operated his orchard for over 35 years. Beginning in 2000 he expanded into raising grapes and in 2002 started his own winery business, Mt. Hood Winery. Mr. Bickford is a member and past President of the Hood River Rotary Club; previously involved on the board of the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital foundation; actively serves as a fireman of the Pine Grove Fire Department; and member Columbia Gorge Wine Growers Association.
Mahlon L. Vigesaa, Vice Chairman, President and CEO, Director, has over 35 years of banking experience. Prior to organizing CenterPointe Community Bank, Mr. Vigesaa served as Executive Vice President at Imperial Bank, a $7.5 billion commercial bank based in Los Angeles, California. His responsibilities included management of the multi-state branch system, all the operational and technology groups as well as being a senior member of Imperial Bank’s Management Committee. Prior to that position, Mr. Vigesaa was Senior Vice President and a key member of U.S. Bank’s management team, from 1994 to 1998 in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Vigesaa began his banking career with Valley National Bank in Arizona. In his 24 years with the bank, he held many positions including management of the operations of the 225 office branch network, branch administration, commercial credit operations, customer support centers, cash vaults and other operational areas. He defined overall operational strategy for standardization and centralization, and developed and implemented improvements in 14 states. His education includes Mankato Commercial College, Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. Mr. Vigesaa has been a resident of the Northwest for over 19 years and resides in Hood River, Oregon.
Robert Stephen Benton, Director, is a native of Hood River and a third generation orchardist who took control of his family’s business growing cherries, pears and apples over 30 years ago. In 2002, Mr. Benton built, and currently owns and operates, a controlled atmosphere cold storage facility in the Hood River area. He and his family are well-known and respected in the agriculture industry in Hood River and The Dalles. Mr. Benton earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University. He is currently a director of the Farmers Irrigation district and West side fire district and is an active leader within the local community.
John Dillon, Director, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree and spent five years on active duty serving in the nuclear submarine service. After leaving active duty he joined the Navy Reserve and retired as a Commander. As a civilian, he earned an MBA from Golden Gate University and spent the past 30 years in the high tech industry. He began his career as a systems engineer for EDS (Electronic Data Systems) and then held sales and management positions at various high tech companies including Oracle Corporation. During the past 15 years, John has served as President and CEO for Hyperion Solutions, Salesforce.com and Navis, LLC. He currently is CEO of Engine Yard, Inc., a leading development platform for the cloud, empowering businesses to build and run applications easily and cost-effectively. Over the years, John has served as a Director for numerous private start-up companies in Silicon Valley and several public companies as well. He is very active in the community as a small business owner of Kramer’s market in Dufur, Oregon and a wheat, hay, and cattle farmer.
Barry Featherstone, Director, is the Chief Financial Officer of Graybeal Distributing Company in Pendleton, Oregon. Prior to his position with Graybeal, Mr. Featherstone spent 20 years leading various research and development, customer service and consulting organizations for software development companies and was involved extensively in the operations of each company. Mr. Featherstone also has experience with angel and venture investments, bridge financing public offerings, merger and acquisitions and has several years of direct retail banking and investment banking experience.
Claire Griffin Lyddon, Director, manages personal real estate investments including The Griffin House on the Columbia River Gorge, a unique property which accommodates occasional weddings, corporate events, retreats, and vacation rentals, along with other units in Hood River. Ms. Lyddon has many years of experience in real estate sales and investing and presently works overseeing real estate acquisitions for an international group. Ms. Lyddon maintains residence in Hood River, Oregon and San Francisco, California.
Dr. Emily Moser, Director, is a neurologist in private practice. She holds a B.A. degree in chemistry from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, and graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1985. She has been in private practice locally in The Dalles for 20 years.
Jason Spadaro, Director, is President of SDS Lumber Company located in Bingen, WA. Mr. Spadaro is a graduate of the University of Washington in Forest Resource Management, and also holds an MBA from the University of Oregon. He has worked for the SDS Lumber Company since 1990. He manages businesses and investments of SDS Lumber Company including timberland and logging; lumber, plywood and other wood products manufacturing; biomass and wind energy and real estate development. Mr. Spadaro resides with his family in White Salmon, Washington. He is active in business and community organizations including Washington Forest Protection Association, Rotary Club of White Salmon/Bingen and White Salmon Valley Education Foundation.
Dr. Andreas von Flotow, Director, a 20 year resident of Hood River, holds a PhD in aerospace engineering from Stanford University and is an accomplished research entrepreneur in multiple disciplines of science and technology, specifically aeronautical and space applications as well as other technologies. Among Dr. von Flotow’s accomplishments are as author and co-author of more than 100 published papers, 25 patents and the successful supervision of 7 PhD students while teaching at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. von Flotow was a founder and principal at Insitu prior to its acquisition by Boeing; is involved in numerous business and investment interests; and is President and Chairman at Hood Technology, a company he founded in 1993.
