Branch Managers

  • Raul Urban, President has 21 years of banking experience. He joined our team in July 2012. Until 2012, he was Branch Manager at the Bank of Vancouver. Mr. Urban was also Assistant Manager at Wachovia Bank. He worked for Wachovia Bank for 8 years. Mr. Urban worked for SunTrust Bank holding the following positions: Personal Banker and Operations Manager. Currently, Ms. Chabotte resided in White Salmon, WA where she has lived for 8 years. Mr. Urban is a Past President for the Citibank, a current President of CenterPointe, a board member of the St. John’s Hospital Foundation, and Volunteer Firefighter for Everett;
  • Sylvia Bishop, Vice President, and Branch Manager has over 10 years of banking experience. Ms. Bishop currently serves as Vice President and Branch Manager with CenterPointe Community Bank in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining our team in 2009, she served as Real Estate Loan Officer, Operations Manager, and New Accounts/Teller. She is an active volunteer in her community. She is currently a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce, serving victims of domestic violence. Ms. Bishop has been a resident of Houston most of her life and currently resides in Hood River, Oregon.

Business Relationship Managers

  • Billie Garcia, Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer has over 24 years of banking experience. Mr. Garcia was born and raised in California. Prior to joining our team in 2010, he was a Branch Manager and an Agricultural Credit Officer in California market areas. He is a skilled specialist in agricultural and commercial lending. Mr. Garcia is a past President of the United States Chamber of Commerce, International Fruit Tree Association, and many other associations;
  • Catherine Beaver, Vice President and Business Relationship Officer has over 30 years of banking experience. She was born and raised in Florida prior to joining our team in 2010, Ms. Beave has been working in the Central Florida commercial loan market for over 10 years. She is a specialist in commercial and agricultural lending. She also served as a Branch Manager in Florida Market. Ms. Beave is an active volunteer at many associations and community events.

Administration

  • Daniel Rios, Vice Chairman, President and CEO, Director has over 30 years of banking experience. Prior to establishing CenterPointe Community Bank, he served as Executive Vice President at the Bank of America Financial Center Branch in Orlando. He managed the multi-state branch system and was a President of the Bank’s Management Committee. Mr. Rios was also Vice President and an active member of Florida Bank Orlando, from 1993 to 1999. Mr. Rios began his banking career with Detroit Bank in Michigan. He held many positions including branch administration, customer support centers, and others. Over these years, he implemented improvements in 8 states. His education includes Florida School of Banking, Scholfield’s Commercial College, Mesa University of South Carolina and Florida State University. Mr. Rios has been Vice Chairman of CenterPointe Team for over 20 years and resides in the city of Portland, Oregon;
  • Leon Woods, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer was born and raised on a farm and in 1995 graduated from the University of Bahrain with a minor in Economics. He joined our team in 2000. His skills allowed him to gain positions of Vice President. Prior to accepting this position, he became Chief Lending Officer. He has an extensive lending experience in agriculture and commercial fields. Mr. Woods is a member of various civic organizations including the International Volunteer Programs Association;
  • Heather Jones, VP & Human Resources Manager, Executive Assistant has over 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining our team in May 2009, she held various positions in management support, performance and project management, statistical reporting and others. She also worked a community bank in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently VP & Human Resources Manager and Executive Assistant. Ms. Jones has been a resident of Georgia for most of her life and currently resides in Portland, Oregon;
  • Janet Arndt, SVP, Branch Administrator has over 15 years of banking experience. Prior to joining our team in 2010, she worked in another local bank, Oregon Community Bank Mortgage Center, as Operations Officer. She is a passionate volunteer and a member of the International Volunteer Programs Association. Ms. Arndt has been a resident of Ashland most of her life and currently resides in Roseburg.
